PARTS DRIVER
Diablo General Engineering is searching for a parts driver to assist in picking up different materials from various suppliers and delivering them to job sites throughout the Bay Area. Typical deliveries include pipe, fittings, wood, concrete bags, and heavy equipment parts.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Driving between projects in Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, and Solano Counties.

Order and pick up material and tools from suppliers.

Pull trailers and move small equipment as needed.

Load & unload truck and trailer.
-
Coordinate with foremen & superintendents via phone and email.

Organize spare material/parts at shop/yard.

Perform various other chores at shop/yard such as cleaning
QUALIFICATIONS:​

High School Diploma
-
1+ years of underground utility construction experience
-
Able to bend over, climb in/out of truck beds, and lift 100lbs on a regular basis.

Clean driving record
-
Able to self-manage
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
