Our History
Diablo General Engineering was founded in 1980 by Bob and Brenda Truax. Bob became the trusted grading and utility contractor for many home builders in the East Bay Area. He was known for his ability to take on challenging grading jobs that other contractors could not handle. Under Bob's leadership the company grew to the size it is at today.
In 2023, after multiple years of planning, Frankie Lozano and Evan Miller took over the business as President and Vice President respectively.

Sitework Layout Technology
Our team speeds up the process and improves the project through the integration of GPS technology for precision grading and layout. Our state-of-the-art equipment ensures accuracy in every aspect of the construction process, optimizing efficiency and minimizing errors.
Our field fleet includes multiple Topcon GPS systems including machine control for dozers and motorgraders.
